The process of handling the textile, dyeing it by hand and see the different fabrics react differently with the dye, was what really excited me about the whole process and not only making the patterns or sewing it but manipulating the textiles and creating unique 1 of 1 garments. Through this i gained a better understanding of the whole process and a great feeling of the correlation between textile, color and pattern.
